The Logistics Program of Isparta Vocational School at Isparta University of Applied Sciences organized an event titled “Logistics Alumni-Student Meetings I.”
The event was held at the Isparta Vocational School 50th Anniversary Conference Hall and hosted Emrullah Özbek, Stock Control and Shipment Specialist at Turkish Red Crescent Logistics, as the guest speaker. The event was carried out under the coordination of Lecturer Ali Şimşek for students of the Logistics Program.
During the program, the impact of digital transformation on the logistics sector was discussed, with a particular focus on SAP software used in logistics, corporate data management, and cloud-based S/4HANA technologies. Drawing on his professional experience, Emrullah Özbek shared insights into the role of SAP software in stock control, shipment operations, supply chain management, and operational efficiency.
The event also addressed basic SAP modules, professional certification processes, and career opportunities in the logistics field. Students had the opportunity to learn about digital applications and sectoral expectations they may encounter in their professional lives after graduation.
