A seminar/training event titled “SAP Software in Logistics” was organized by the Logistics Program of the Department of Management and Organization at Isparta Vocational School, Isparta University of Applied Sciences.
The event, held at the Isparta Vocational School 50th Anniversary Conference Hall, hosted Emrullah Özbek, Stock Control and Shipment Specialist at Turkish Red Crescent Logistics, as the guest speaker.
During the seminar, the impact of digital transformation on the logistics sector was discussed, with a particular focus on the use of SAP software in logistics operations. The event covered key topics such as basic SAP modules, cloud-based S/4HANA technologies, corporate data management, professional certification processes, and career opportunities in the logistics field.
The seminar emphasized the growing importance of new business models integrated with information technologies in the digital transformation of logistics. Students had the opportunity to gain practical insights into the role of SAP software in stock control, shipment planning, supply chain management, and operational efficiency.
The event was completed as a productive academic gathering aimed at increasing students’ awareness of the future of the logistics profession in the digital world and supporting the development of their sectoral competencies.
