Isparta Vocational School (IMYO) was established in 1976. In 1977, it began its educational activities with 140 students in two vocational programs. In 1982, with the reorganization of higher education institutions under the Higher Education Council (YÖK), it was incorporated into Akdeniz University. In 1992, with the establishment of Süleyman Demirel University (SDÜ), it became affiliated with SDÜ. During the restructuring process in 2008, its technically focused programs were transferred to Isparta Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO). Following this, IMYO continued its educational activities with programs focused on social sciences and the service sector. In 2018, with Law No. 7141, Isparta University of Applied Sciences (ISUBÜ) was established, and IMYO became affiliated with ISUBÜ.
