INTRODUCTION TO HEALTH INSTITUTIONS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM |
|
The healthcare sector is one of the fastest-growing service sectors. Technological advancements and transformations in the medical field, particularly in recent years, have made it one of the most important sectors. Healthcare institutions are among those with the highest number of personnel and the highest levels of specialization. The fact that healthcare institutions receive patients as inputs and treatable patients as outputs, and that they provide services 24/7, increases their importance and numbers every day. Due to these fundamental characteristics and advantages, the healthcare sector holds a prominent position among the most important sectors. The increase in the number of healthcare institutions, especially private hospitals, rehabilitation centers, dialysis centers, and specialized hospitals (eye, dental, cardiology, etc.) in recent years, has also increased the need for qualified personnel. The young population of the country and the increasing number of young university students and graduates also influence the government's employment policies. The Healthcare Institutions Management Program will contribute to these employment policies and the expected changes in the service sector. Furthermore, our graduates, having completed the necessary theoretical and practical training, will not experience difficulties adapting to technological and scientific changes that may occur within institutions.
