A seminar/training event titled “Proper Nutrition for a Healthy Life” was organized by the Accounting and Tax Applications Program and the Logistics Program of the Department of Management and Organization at Isparta Vocational School, Isparta University of Applied Sciences.

The event, held at the Isparta Vocational School 50th Anniversary Conference Hall, hosted Dietitian Beyzanur Göksular from the Department of Health, Culture and Sports of Isparta University of Applied Sciences as the speaker. The seminar was organized for students of the Accounting and Tax Applications and Logistics programs.

During the seminar, the importance of balanced and proper nutrition, one of the key components of a healthy lifestyle, was discussed. Dietitian Beyzanur Göksular emphasized that adequate and balanced nutrition plays a critical role in maintaining physical and mental performance, particularly in educational and professional life, which often requires an intense pace. Within the scope of the presentation, information was shared on the Türkiye Nutrition Guide 2022, portion recommendations according to age groups and gender, daily dietary patterns, water consumption, and healthy food choices.

In the event, which was followed with great interest by the students, attention was drawn to the effects of healthy eating habits on academic achievement, energy levels, and quality of life. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions about proper nutrition and receive expert guidance.

At the end of the program, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Dietitian Beyzanur Göksular by Lecturer Dr. Nuray Bağırsakçı from the Department of Management and Organization for her valuable contributions. The event was completed as a productive gathering aimed at raising students’ awareness of healthy living and supporting sustainable nutritional habits.
