About Foreing Trade

Foreing Trade Program of the Department of Foreing Trade at Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Isparta Vocational School, has been admitting students since the 1993–1994 Academic Year. The program its education activities in accordance with the 3+1 workplace-based learning model.

Developments in the Turkish and global economies are increasing the demand for human resources with international skills. From the perspective of global commercial competition, the importance of foreign trade is growing day by day. The Foreign Trade Program aims to produce graduates who will contribute to Türkiye's global competitiveness. Our graduates are employed in import and export-based sectors, logistics, customs, and other fields related to foreign trade.

Mission

Today's businesses face intense international competition in both domestic and foreign markets. Therefore, they must conduct their operations more professionally and produce high-quality goods and services. This program aims to train solution-oriented foreign trade specialists equipped with practical knowledge of foreign trade issues and a strong understanding of customs regulations, who can respond to the export drive of the industry, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in this highly competitive environment and as they move towards developing markets.
